PDT for Pipelines
PDT is designed for diagrosing the following types of pipelines:

RISERS — A VERTICAL PIPELINES USED FOR TRANSPORTING PRODUCTS
PDT is effectively used for inspecting all types of pipelines, including underground, above-ground, and underwater pipelines, with particular emphasis on unpiggable pipelines.
The first type mode of PDT for pipelines is the Linear mode.
Transducers are installed at both ends of the object to be examined. The inspection length can reach up to 1 kilometer.
Linear mode provides:
- Real-time data acquisition
- Inspection without change of operation mode
- 100 coverage of the inspected pipeline
The second type mode of PDT for pipelines is the Planar mode.
This method allows to inspection to around 200 meters in each side around from where the transducers are installed.
It’s convenient because the transducers are placed in one location.
Planar mode is useful to inspect the underwater part of a riser.
